Adding shutters or window coverings to the exterior of your home or on the property needs to receive ACC approval prior to install. Any permanent interior coverings visible from the outside of the home will also require association approval. Your governing documents can guide the style or colors of shutters, solar screens, or other coverings that may be approved.
