Can I report my neighbor’s barking dog or pet off a leash?

Each association’s documents are different, so we recommend starting with the most effective approach, which is to contact your local Animal Control or Compliance office.  In some instances, and if the governing documents specifically state pets must be a leash, SpectrumAM can issue an incurable violation notice. However, it can be difficult to attach an owner to a pet.

Associations are typically unable to strongly enforce animal behavior, instead depending greatly on the policies for each community. This is why the local Animal Control office is usually the best approach.
