What does a lime have to do with an HOA management company?

When we think of a lime, we think of refreshment and perhaps even the relief that comes along with it. Eating a lime dessert or drinking lime concoctions is a delicious and refreshing experience, one that most everyone enjoys. This is precisely where the similarities between the way we do business and the delicious lime begin!

When we started Spectrum Association Management more than a decade ago, almost every HOA company out there didn’t provide board members and homeowners with all they wanted. In fact, not only did they not provide all that was needed, they often did things that frustrated or made life more difficult for board members and homeowners. Unfortunately, not much has changed. With overloaded community managers, poor communication, and a lack of understanding that homeowners are the core customer, HOA management companies typically don’t deliver on what board members and homeowners need. Board members want well-trained, empowered, and capable employees that can make it a pleasant experience to serve on a board of directors.

Homeowners don’t want to call their community management company only to get stuck in a never-ending list of prompts requested by a machine or get stuck leaving a message on voicemail with no hope their message will be responded to any time soon.
