When disaster strikes, it has a way of revealing both devastation and resilience.

During our recent trip to Kerrville to assist with flood relief efforts, our Spectrum team had the honor of meeting the Jones family.

As floodwaters surged through the Texas Hill Country, retired Marine Gunnery Sergeant Kevin and his fiancée clung to a beam for two hours holding on while trucks floated by, propane tanks exploded, and everything they owned was swept away.

You can read their full story, as told by Team Rubicon, here.

Days following the flood, our team worked with the Jones family to begin the long road to recovery. We worked alongside them to clear debris from their home and storage units, and sifted through the damage for anything that could be salvaged.
